ABSTRACT
The paper presents a simplified analysis of theoretical travels of high-speed train units. The results of the analysis were based on theoretical travels of the trains in various variants and for various travel scenarios. The data so obtained lead to the conclusion that the tilting body system gives measurable benefits. Nevertheless, the effects obtained result in increased expenditure in the construction phase and later during the operation. Therefore, it is in any case necessary to make detailed analyzes of future advantages and costs to be incurred.
