Article presents the railway brake control system for wagons pulled by a road-rail ma-chine developed as a part of the research and development project no. 0205/L-12 co-financed by the National Centre for Research and Development under the LIDER XII programme. Both the conceptual assumptions and functionalities of this system were presented, emphasizing its innovativeness and impact on safety in the railway sector. The paper also includes experi-mental results aimed at verifying the key functionalities of the system and confirming its effec-tiveness in ensuring safe operation.
